Hell the only thing Idaho grows more of than potatoes is rocks, and sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.. Idaho Ranger potatoes have been known to grow to between 5 and 9 pounds.

To be fair (c wut eye did their?) race isn't really a thing either. Not biologically anyways. It's a social construct just like ethnicity.
As for getting butthurt about "racial" slurs, I always tell my haf-u Jap kids to consider the context and the intent of the slinger. For example, "haf-u" (half) is generally considered a derogatory term for half JDM kids in Japan, and 'muricans general think "Jap" is offensive while UK people use that as just shorthand for Japanese. We have British friends. So know if somebody intends offense or not. And if you are in an internet forum arguing about different levels of douchery, grow some thick skin and learn to play the insult game or GTFO. And I'm pretty sure us Polacks eat as many potatoes as Mick's anyways. You should hear the racial/sexual/sexist jokes we constantly crack at work between transmissions to errplanes.
That sword cuts both ways though. I would never intentionally try to actually seriously upset Blaine because he knows so fucking much about Jeep/off-road shit (except upgrading 4.X engines reference increased power
) and I want to continue to learn from him. If I thought he was *actually* offended by anybody daring to question his word as the gospel though, I think he would deserve any ribbing he got for it. Under that gruff exterior and prickly demeanor, I think he's just a big teddy bear here to help us all get pointed in the right direction. Sometimes he just needs a belly rub or two 
My work buddy had that guy's face from the same image on his face mask at work (federal employee--mandatory masks forever). It was great for people that got it.
