I'm going to paint all my fender flares with some type of bed liner. Obviously I see Raptor and DupliColor at the local auto stores. Are there any other brands I should be looking at?

I saw SEM 39143 Trim Black Aerosol recommended here often and it is what I used (edit: I re-read your post and just realized you're asking about bed liner. This is just paint). So far it has held up but it has only been ~9 months.

Whatever you use, make sure you scuff and clean them as well as possible before painting.

Others of us use the SEM's Landau Black, which I think is a closer match to factory. Agreed on the benefits of proper prep. There are several threads on here about prep and process.

I have had great fender flare results with sem trim ultra, as well as monstaliner. The paint jobs are 9 months old and a year and a half respectively. Both are holding up great, especially the monstaliner. During your prep, scuff off the old light colored plastic dust with some wet scotch brite, constantly rinsing, and do your final wash with some dish detergent and then rinse it really well. Then coat it with plastic adhesion promoter before using your paint or bedliner of choice. Do not use solvents when cleaning the flares. Doing so will compromise the paints ability to stick to the surface. Good luck.

Duplicolor bumper and trim is a great option, as is the SEM. Duplicolor is actually a dye I believe rather than paint. It is held up wonderfully for me.

Painted my front bumper, rocker guards and fender flares, and door jams, with rustoleum truck bed.
How long ago? I don't think black Rustoleum spray on bed liner (like most black spray can bed liner products) is UV stable so without some kind of topcoat it may fade badly over time. Ive seen some go bad in just a few years. Rustoleum seems to be silent on UV stability but maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place.

not sure what they claim for uv but i painted my entire jeep with that stuff a while back (dumbmoveiknowit'sgettingfixedi'vealreadyheardalltheshittalkaboutitthanks) and it is now a grey jeep. i liked the texture and look when it was freshly done but it went downhill pretty quickly after that. now it only looks good if it's super dirty :ROFLMAO:

I cannot emphasize this enough:

Follow the preparation instructions to the letter!

Skipping any steps will kill your work. You'll end up with a flaking mess that you'll have to redo much sooner than you would've had you followed the instructions.

I read some post a while back in which some knucklehead was complaining about how bad Krylon Fusion was (similar to the version they produce now). I'd used the same paint on my flares and had no issues. In fact, my flares went through two Chicagoland winters when my TJ was still my daily driver and the flares still looked great.

After some prodding, others got the bonehead to admit that not only did he completely skip the preparation instructions, but he painted over mud. WTF!

Good on you for speaking up. Most people who post stupid things like painting chrome with rattle cans and flares with black spray on bed liner products never come back and report the long term shit results. So people who don't know any better pick up the idea and continue the clown show.

Anybody on here know which SEM bumper-coater is closes to Graphite Metallic Clearcoat on the Rocky Mountain Editions?

I have to repaint 1 of the 4 takeoffs I got for daughter's '03. Picture shown is one of the good one.
I'd guess you will need to paint all four to get anywhere close to a good match. Maybe contact a local automotive paint and body supply store that sells SEM products (most should) and see if they have a color chart. Pick a can of the closest color and spray a test panel to compare and see if it's close enough for you. My local supply store didn't have the full range of colors on the shelf but could have had anything needed in a few days.
