What did you do to your TJ today?

Been a busy week on the new to me ‘05 LJ. I replaced all speakers (front and read speaker pods) with JL 5 1/4” and added a kicker HS8 under rear seat (got the idea from a previous poster). All fit perfectly and still look stock. Replaced oem headlights with Rigid 7” heated round LED (what a difference and still retains some stock look) and added a rugged ridge 1.5” seat lift kit.

Finished the day by getting high rear brake light working. Also had to replace brakes, ball joints, and as always change all the fluids so we have a starting point. I think it needs a battery, while working on the jeep it twice needed a jump.
Getting everything ready for my son who takes the wheel in less than a month (getting his drivers license)

Hope its the battery and not the alternator..(Start it up then take off the positive terminal if it stops its the alternator ) Battery is easier and quicker and the less expensive option for sure..digging the colour.

I'm guessing you get a fair amount of snow where you are then ?...(enough for them to salt the roads anyway)
The Iowa winter is brutal cold & precipitation filled. We get all types of winter weather, rain, snow, sleet, ice. Hell, the last couple years we have even had thunder snow, I thought that was pretty cool. Salt and sand is waaay over used 'round here.

mmm that explains everything...'Thunder snow' doesn't sound too much like fun at all. I feel sorry for chassis up there with all that salt.
