    Random Wheeling Picture Dump

So I drove up to the Bear Tooths to run Goose Lake trail just outside of Cooke City. What a great trail. But being solo I don't have many photos. But I was in 4LO the whole way and had about 3 sections of "oh shit I don't have lockers" - luckily a little skinny pedal and 8psi did the trick. Def...

    Let's talk cooling

Refrigeration is pretty simple. The real issue is, is the compressor good. And can it handle vibrations and dust. Not to many are actually rated for that. I think ARB makes one, but the price is bonkers. Mine has been running fine for years with lots of go fast bumps and seems to be handling...

    The official idiot driver thread

He still drives it and his son drives an old F100 that I've seen him drive up Escalator with tools rolling around the back. Yes/No in agreement with you. This points to a bigger issue with social media. This guy is out there chasing clout, to be the first Cybertruck to tackle the Rubicon...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Three days ago, at a trail head backing into a spot in the dark. Sigh... SOB. The worst part, second Jeep I've managed to dent with a tree and without even some cool story about an obstacle. Nope, I'm just dumb. Bright side, I was able to relax and camp here.

    Storage Bins

I was using two of the HF crates next to my fridge. Which was nice for easily pulling them out, but having everything covered in dust was a bit annoying. Especially my day packs. Still experimenting with different load outs. My backset is back in the Jeep and my soft top back on as I'm doing a...

    Storage Bins

This was the suggestion a lot on Facebook. Seems popular.

    Storage Bins

Searching "Storage" and "Bins" returns a lot of results but not exactly what I'm looking for. Anyone have suggestions for two storage bins that fit between the two rear foot wheels side by side. Equal sizes? The Home Depot yellow lid and red ones don't. The 27 gallon guys. The irony here...

    Starlink mount

Yeah, but also kinda not really. It does one when you start it up in the app, you can align it. It's suggested. But I've driven over 80 miles across the Utah desert then all the way back home to Meridian, Idaho without bothering to adjust it and it worked fine enough for me to never notice it...

Utah BLM closing around 1/3rd of the trail miles near Moab

This. Times a million. I was on Metal Masher when some asshat rides up and goes "looks like this is where you turn around" then proceed to go around the obstacle through bushes and off trail. I'm like WTF dude! Side by Sides in Moab are bad. Mostly blame rentals as no one gets proper education...

    Improving the stock steering

There is a good thread on this forum to boot about the difference between the options I wish I had read before I pulled the trigger, but that's what I get for making 1am white monster induced purchasing decisions. Thread...

    Wrangler TJ Ball Joint Replacement

Reading this whole thread and noticed not one mention of any particular brand outside of Spicer when it comes to balljoints, so I'm assuming most people just stick with that. Was curious about that, in the other realms I hang out in like truck land there are a lot of aftermarket options for...

    Improving the stock steering

Replace all of that. Dead serious. It's how many years old my guy. I found myself in a similar situation with a low mileage TJ. Heck, I still had the original shocks on the Jeep. But the steering was total slop. It's all these warn out ends. I mean driving down the road and I'm doing so much...
