    P0174 and P0171 Codes

I’m hoping to resolve the issue without having to pay a shop anything. If I can’t fix it myself I’ll take to to a shop to look for leaks.

    P0174 and P0171 Codes

Yes it was a wranglerfix pcm, and it’s worked great

    P0174 and P0171 Codes

Ok thanks, I’ll pick up a gasket soon so I can take the throttle body off and clean it thoroughly. By pay attention to the map and iac ports, do you mean clean them too, or to not get throttle body cleaner in there?

    P0174 and P0171 Codes

I don’t think it’s an exhaust leak since there are 2 exaust manifolds, and I’m getting codes from Bolth banks. There is a hissing sound coming from the throttle body but I think it might be normal since I sprayed the gasket with starter fluid and nothing happened

    P0174 and P0171 Codes

I recently replaced the PCM on my 2005 wrangler 4.0 auto, and that fixed the majority of the codes that it was throwing. It idles and drives fine, however, I am still getting recurring P0174 and P0171 codes. After reading some forum posts I took a look at the throttle body, and found that the...

    Possible bad PCM?

Ok thanks, ill check them out. The Replacement PCM I got was just another ¨rebuilt¨ TJ pcm so im guessing it was just bad as well.

    Possible bad PCM?

Yes, i should have mentioned that. I replaced them all with NGK in spring of 2020 and it was check engine light free until around last august.

    Possible bad PCM?

So i made a post about this last fall, but i haven't found the issue yet and it seems to be getting worse. Im currently getting code P0031, P0037, P0051, P0613, P0700, P1604. These are all 4 O2 sensor heater codes, two transmission controller codes, and a PCM code. I'm also getting occasional...

O2 sensor codes—could it be a bad ground or PCM issue?

I'm pretty confident its electrical and not a cat issue only because it throws all 4 heater codes immediately after I clear them. I think if was bad cats I would be getting more varied bank lean codes before the heater codes. Also, the engine runs fine so i don't think there is any clogging.

O2 sensor codes—could it be a bad ground or PCM issue?

I checked the connectors at the sensors and at the pcm and they both appear to be clean and in good shape. There does appear to be a small amount of dielectric grease on the pcm pins already though, do you think this could this be causing any issues? Also yes, my transmission shifts hard...

O2 sensor codes—could it be a bad ground or PCM issue?

I posted about this a little while back but my o2 sensors keep giving me codes (P0174, P0157, P0031, P0037, P0051, P0057, P0157) These are for bank 1/2 lean and bad heaters. I thought the culprit was that I had replaced them with bosch ones in the spring, but I checked them and it turns out i...

    Bad O2 Sensors?

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll take your advice and get the NTK sensors, hopefully that fixes it.

    Bad O2 Sensors?

So this spring I finally got my project TJ roadworthy. One of the problems I had was a check engine light, which was on and showing a few emissions codes (don't remember the specific codes). Since the Jeep had been dead in the woods for the past 2 years, I replaced the 02 sensors since i assumed...
