    Cam Bolt Eliminator Washer

The terraflex washers were 1 3/16 x 1 5/8 The gap to fill was about a heavy 1 1/2. So they were either 1/8th to wide. Or 5/16 too narrow. Could I have “made them work” ?absolutely. I could have ground them down or had 5/16th of slop. Either would probably be fine. But they were no thicker than...

Starting the engine without transmission or transfer case

2005 Rubicon - Manual transmission (NSG 370), and transfer case are sitting on my bench, no longer in the rig. I need to start the engine. My plan is to use the bellhousing from the trans (which I already need to separate anyway to replace the input bearing, and seal), so I can bolt the...

    Flywheel locking tool

WIthout locking the flywheel in place, you'll just spin the motors output shaft when tightening or loosening the flywheel bolts. There are lots of tools for other common motors, but can't find anything for my combo, but I don't have it apart yet to measure to see if an "off label" tool will work.

    Flywheel locking tool

2005 with NSG 370 - I'd like to buy a tool to lock the flywheel in place. I know I can wedge something in there, but does anyone have a tool that is known to work? I can't seem to find one. Along those lines, is the flywheel, and bell housing the same for AX-15, NV 3550 and NSG 370 trans...

    LJ cargo tie down

Hey that's awesome. I'm stoked you're using them. Hopefully they work out for you. post up your experience after you get some time with them! I used a little bit of ~1/2" packing foam between the brackets and the body just to keep them from from scratching the paint, etc.

My P2096 (and P0153) Journey - 2005 Manual LJ Rubicon

CAI? FWIW, I haven't changed anything on my end, and remain problem free. But I've only put about 10 miles on it since I wrote this... :)

My ARB twin compressor on board air setup

For my air hose, I hate standing half hunched over to air up tires, holding the handle down. I usually end up putting a slideable zip tie on the handle of the inflator valve handle. So I abandoned a traditional inflator chuck, and made my own with a ball valve. I used generic hose barb fittings...

My ARB twin compressor on board air setup

I probably could have gotten the ARB twin piston compressor to fit in the ABS tray, but I wasn't overly happy with the fit, and since my 2005 has all this room on the fender from moving the charcoal canister to the passenger rear fender, I figured I'd make a bracket to cleanly mount the...

    Cam Bolt Eliminator Washer

I had heard rumors of a nicely machined cam bolt eliminator washer, which fit into the horizontal slot on the factory front lower control arms, but I couldn't find such a beast. So being in a hurry to leave on a trip I bought these crappy Teraflex 951700 cam bolt eliminating washers. I couldn't...

    LJ cargo tie down

Hey Folks, just wanted to report back that everything worked great through 2 weeks of rock crawling in utah and coloardo. The bracket hasn't bent, and the car seat tie down bolt hasn't broken/bent (which was the part I was most worried about). I had ~200lbs of gear strapped down wiith ratchet...
