Yea, I wanted to give this site first crack at the Jeep as I know this community really appreciates these vehicles. I am planning on putting it on Craigslist depending on how things go.
She treated me very well over the last three years. Unfortunately I didn't get to drive her much but I enjoyed every mile I drove. I tried to take great care of her.
I am putting up my 2005 Jeep LJR for sale in the San Diego and Riverside county areas. The vehicle is registered in Nevada and had a smog check done on 11/30/22. It is in excellent condition for it's age with roughly 48,000 miles on it. It has only been taken off-road a couple of times but never...
I have made the decision to stick with the TJ.
But unfortunately I can not make the road trip with my father. I recieved orders to report to a ship for work. It's just one of the hazards of my job. So he will be making the trip alone or with his father. It really sucks because I was greatly...

I'm with you...

Right, well I like the sound of keeping my drive shaft further from the rocks. Depending on who you ask 4"s is a substantial difference. And I am inclined to agree with them.
Question for the peanut gallery. I am going to be swapping in a Dana 44 rear axle and have been doing quite a bit of research on the aspects of the front Dana 30. I want to swap in a high pinion Dana 30 non-disconnecting from an XJ to get a little more clearance. The axles out of an XJ aren't overly pricey...
