    97 TJ Alternator Not Charging

To test the signal from the PCM to your alternator, you can follow these steps: On your '97 TJ, the alternator typically has a plug with a few pins inside. Look for the smaller connector that delivers the signal from the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) to the alternator. Make sure you refer to...

What size are the taillight screws?

Take one of the spares off and take it with you to any ACE Hardware and match it up. Grab them in stainless while you're at it. That'll be easier than anyone guessing the size (since I don't think most people know it off-hand).

    Feel-Good Music (Add Yours)

And another one of my favorites. Waylon sure had one hell of a voice. My favorite part is the big grin on the steel guitar players face towards the end when he's doing the solo. That guy is having one hell of a good time.

    Feel-Good Music (Add Yours)

This came on my playlist tonight and I couldn't help but smile. Such good music came out of the 60s and 70s. I often think about some of the things I would miss most if society were to collapse tomorrow. Very high on that list is music. It can be so uplifting and set the mood for just about any...

    Fuel Transfer Pump Recommendations

I'm thinking in terms of SHTF situation here. I've got these NATO cans (the ones you recommended) and I've got this solar battery I usually carry around with me that goes in a faraday bag. My thought is that if I had a fuel transfer pump that I could power with either my DeWalt batteries or a...

    Fuel Transfer Pump Recommendations

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a fuel transfer pump? I'm thinking about something that can transfer fuel from one fuel tank to another, or a fuel can (i.e. NATO can) to another. Ideally I'd be able to power it with an extension cord (so I could plug it into my solar battery...

    Rubicrawler for $1400

It's very worth it if you're doing slow, technical, rock crawling or going down very steep declines and not wanting to have to rely on the brakes as much I had one and I remember how cool it was. If I wasn't rock crawling I don't think it would be necessary.

    The Elk gods smiled

Did you get to shoot one? Saw a massive heard (at least 200) Elk off the interstate the other day when I was driving through Sundance.

It really gets old after a while

I'm sure they'll appreciate it. Get it in tip-top shape and then you shouldn't have to worry about anything major again, at least in your lifetime.
