    Long Ranger auxiliary fuel tank

Dang that is tight. I was planning on using a gen right tank along with the long ranger tank. I'm not surprised about the poor quality of the other parts. It was the same with the LRA tank for my Gladiator. The tank was awesome and well built, but all the other connecting parts, hoses...

    Long Ranger auxiliary fuel tank

Man I'm jealous. I definitely still want to go that route just have had too many other obligations this year. I would love to see a nice writeup with plenty of photos! I had a LRA tank, a different company than the one making aux tanks for the TJ, in the Gladiator and it was awesome!

Sad day - camping concepts closing

Just posting. Not sure if any of you here ever followed Jeff Sherb much, but one of his creations was passed on to Scott at Camping Concepts a long time ago. I've talked with Scott a bunch of times over the years, was never in a position to buy one of the "Jeep tub" trailers. I was gifted an...

Has anyone actually swapped an OM606 into a TJ?

Anyone make a tailgate “stay open” latch?

I find a small plastic wedge works well - can be found in most stores that carry chainsaws. Prop it in the hinge between the door and body

The Old Man Jeep (a '06 LJ build)

The UFC skid plate arrived yesterday. I opted for the no body lift option since I dont do hard core off road and do not want to deal with the headaches that a body lift brings, and it will provide better protection than the existing. Although I'm surprised they left the hole open for the...

    OME 2.5" lift in progress!

Where did you pick up the bracket?

Has anyone actually swapped an OM606 into a TJ?

Different, but I have seen some videos on swapping a Kubota engine. I thought it could be a cool concept to put one of those in an old flat fender since the jeepster man sells the 'jeep in a crate' now.

    Long Ranger auxiliary fuel tank

I was considering doing both. The aux tank is about 1300 shipped I believe, comes from a distributor in Canada

Installed Armorlite Flooring System Nov 2023

I second this. I've had mine in for almost a year now and it's been fantastic. Can't wait to get one in the LJ. I would suggest considering only doing the front though. Depending on how folks have their individual rigs set up, it might even be a hinderance in the rear, if for example, you...

    Long Ranger auxiliary fuel tank

Has anyone here installed or seen installed one of these 17 gal aux tanks? http://thelongranger.com.au/jeep/wrangler/tj/ I had a LRA tank on my Gladiator and it worked amazingly well. Although refitting the exhaust was a major pita. I live in an area where I'm always carrying jerry cans but...

    Freedom Eagle

For as long as I have had this G.E. I have wanted onboard air. I finally have gotten around to doing it. Taking the ARB from the Gladiator and using the Mountain Offroad engine mount it went on over the last week. It did take some more work than expected. The mount doesn't play super nice...

    Freedom Eagle

Yeah I went this route for that reason. The way Warn handled their VR EVO series made me not want to trust them, and their ZEON series is far too expensive. I originally had this on the rear bumper of my Gladiator post 103...

What did you do WITH your TJ today?

Since the LJ is down with a bad hub, I took the TJ out for a spin with the new Mountain Offroad engine skid. Recorded a track up to an old mine site that doesn't have any history, unfortunately. But it's pretty cool with a nice view. Somewhere up there is a USGS elevation monument I still...

    New radio time

I agree it shouldn't be that difficult but I'm expecting the plastic to be brittle so just don't want to brake anything. I've had the TJ panel off several times over the years and much of the clips have broken off, so if I can do it all at once and eliminate the need to really take it apart...
