    Not sure what this hose?

    The pic is the cap, it just has a lot of grease and or dirt on that. It is more likely the automatic transmission vent line. I have a 2006 TJ and that is where my automatic transmission vent line is. My transfer case vent line is in the same spot on the drivers side of the engine.

    Before you start, measure your pinion angles and driveshaft angles. Install skid plate Measure pinion angles and driveshaft angles afterwards. No guessing.....you'll have the numbers and know what to do.
