    Brackets in the back

The little ones further forward are footman loops. Those are there for strapping down the door surrounds when going topless. You use the straps that originally came with the Jeep when new. Mine (1998) has 4 footman loops in that location and came with webbing with clips that hold down the...

What did you do to your TJ today?

I bought the LockNFlate locking air chuck for my tire inflator. Works great. Now I'll have to buy one of these.

Need to replace the track bar: is JKS a solid option?

I believe that the original bushing in that track bar calls for the standard bolt and not a larger diameter bolt. @AndyG should know where he got the larger bolt and flag nut.

    Inner fender liners

Nice find. When mine got tore up, I just bought material from McMaster-Carr and cut my own. At the price those are selling for, I would have gone that route had I known at the time.

Need to replace the track bar: is JKS a solid option?

That is the one my son had in his Jeep that I replaced the Clevite bushing and put in a Moog TRE.

Need to replace the track bar: is JKS a solid option?

I did the same thing last year to my son's Jeep as he has the RC track bar. I did it based on @AndyG post. It was quite easy to do. New Clevite bushing and new Moog TRE and all is well again.

    Help identifying cable under dash

Since yours is a 97, its most likely the blend door cable from the slider (cool/hot) to the blend door.

    Non highline fenders advantages?

Not so much here but in PA (Pennsylvania ;)) the LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) can be very hard on vehicles with no flares. I do drive in PA quite a bit.

    Non highline fenders advantages?

I did the same thing but I went with TNT fenders. Hit a tree and it started to buckle the tub slightly. Pulled the TNTs off, bought cheap Chinese fenders, painted them and put on the MCEs. I figured, if the MCEs and fenders got all torn up, I could easily replace them. Looks like the fenders...

    Non highline fenders advantages?

I did buy an extra set of MCE's when Quadratec had them for $199.00 since I did bend the front passenger one quite a bit. They're down in the basement with my other spares but we'll see if I put them on now or wait. They don't crack but they will get a permanent crease in them when they're...

What I got out of all of this is MCE is now out of business. Where the hell have I been?
