    New Daily 2004 WJ

Buddy who was a body and paint guy earlier I life is doing a scuff-n-spray raptor line job for me on my WJ. We agreed that he wouldn't blow it apart and wouldn't fix minor dings, but would make sure the existing paint was taken down far enough that there wouldn't be issues with adherence and...

    Gears and lockers

I live in the mountains, about 7k feet above sea level. 97 4.0, AX-15 with 4.88's and 35's. I take my jeep offroading, but also won't hesitate to jump in it and drive 5 hours to get to a trail or hunting spot. I can keep it at 75 on the interstate in the flats, but pulling a hill I have to...

Excellent! I've been pleased with mine. Sample size of one and all that, but it's been a good product for me.

    advance adapters 231 sye

I'll add that while the ship time might be a little long, I ordered my JB SS Sye and when it came in, it sat in my shop for months before I got around to installing it. When I was putting everything together, I realised that they forgot the Hall sensor in the kit. I emailed them on the weekend...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Today, I DROVE my Jeep! Its been down since early spring with diffs that finally grenaded on me. Saved up cash, watched some BFH garage videos, and tackled setting up gears. Installed Yukon Zip lockers front and back while I was in there, and fixed the parking brakes too. I just got done with...

Dana 44 re-gear and locker install

To wrap this up, I went back to the setup in post #68 per @hosejockey61 suggestion. Everything is in spec, torqued and loctite'd per spec, and final install happened this afternoon. Locker works as it should with an air compressor blowing into the line orifice, so everything should be good! And...

Im trying to be patient, I really am. But my Jeep has been down since early spring while I tried to find time to tackle this. Being this close is making me antsy!🤣🤣🤣 I keep telling myself "dont rush this. Take your time and do it right!:
