So Ive had a belt squeak for a few weeks, I checked my idler pulleys and such and all seemed 100%. The other day I was talking to a friend about the belt squeak and we opened the hood, we could see the balancer pulley doing the hula which i assume was causing the squeak, either way I ordered one...

I don't think that's anything to worry about at all, other than the rust hole on the body that frame looks to have just some light surface rust. Take another good look if you're considering a purchase to make sure that the worst of it. There could be more lurking. It looks like the fuel tank...

Good advise above, Im thinking Vacuum Leak.

Remove the hoses from the back of the machine and flow them into a bucket. If seen the hose swell closed form the inside while the outside looks fine.

I don't know if you have the same situation as my 97, but I found that the seam sealer in the cowl had become dried and cracked, I cleaned out the old stuff and caulked in some new autobody seam sealer and that solved 99 % of my water problem. Pull off the wipers and the panel & have a look.

Snap a picture so we can see what damage you are working with. Im trying to figure where a M10x 1.5 bolt would go under the wheel. The only place i can think of are the 2 holes in the wheel frame used to remove the wheel, if using a puller and they do nothing to secure the wheel to the shaft.

Your distributor has play ? as in rotates clockwise and counter clockwise ? if so that could be causing timing issues as it moves forward and back. thus burnt electrode.
