Decided to go with Fuel 17x9 Ammo wheels

Decided to go with these wheels in 17x9 on my 2001 TJ after researching a lot of different combos. I will be running 33x12.5x17” BFG Mud Terrain KM3’s. I was looking to get as close as possible to a 4” backspacing. These come with a backspacing of 5.157” and when combined with my 1.25” adapters will give me 3.907” backspacing. Seems nearly perfect. Is anyone running this setup? Does this seem like it will fit well? Opinions appreciated. Thanks guys

I like the Anza’s as well. The backspacing on the Ammo’s works out a little better for my setup. Which color combo did you go with?

On a 9” wide wheel I’d want closer to 4.5”-5” backspacing so the wheels don’t stick out so far. I still prefer an 8” wide rim.

From everything I’ve read it seems like that much backspacing would cause rubbing issues on the control arms?

I'm running 33" BFG KO2s on an older set of Moto Metal 951 17x9 rims with no spacer and 2" OME lift. The MM 951s have 4.53" backspacing and I've had no issues with rubbing on control arms or anything else for that matter. I love the MM 951s but they are due to be replaced and unfortunately MM has apparently stopped making them with the 5x114.3 pattern. I don't trust spacers but have yet to find anything else that I like in that size with that pattern...
