New u joint installed. Wasn’t to hard just have to be careful of the needle bearings and the bearing surfaces.
Not that it's an extremely vulnerable spot but you might want to consider swapping out your zerk fittings for the low profile style.New u joint installed. Wasn’t to hard just have to be careful of the needle bearings and the bearing surfaces.

Thanks a bunch man. I’m loving it. Learning a lot as I go too.![]()
Thank you sir! What's this "wheeling" thing you speak of?
Looking good Nick!
I hadn’t done an oil change since installing my stahlbus.
if you have an engine skid, and don't have a stahlbus…this is a world changer.
even if you don’t have a skid, this thing kicks ass. I didn’t take pictures because I DIDNT HAVE TIME. I unscrewed the dust cap with my fingers, plugged in the hose which reached into the hole in my drip pan. Went inside to grab my funnel and filter and oil and it was done draining with not a drop of oil anywhere. unhooked the hose, screwed on the dust cap by hand, changed the filter and dumped in the oil.
listen I know it might sound stupid “it’s an oil change how hard could it be?” And honestly I wouldn’t have considered this if I didn’t have a skid but just my 2 cents , this makes an oil change a lot nicer. Took less than 5 minutes and no tools needed.![]()
Check out "Oil Udder" for your filterMy Skidrow plate has a trapezoid that allows the oil to drain out. I get it and at the same time I don't get it. The filter is always fun but the drain plug hasn't been an issue. Was it difficult with your skid using the standard plug?

That looks like udder nonsense, does that actually work for you? The oil leaks down the block. How would it do anything useful if it doesn't seal on the block and even if it did you have to pull it off the block at some point and then you have the same mess.Check out "Oil Udder" for your filter
Not necessarily an issue but oil would get on the inside of the skid. Not the end of the world but one more thing to clean up. This is really an awesome little device and I could easily see myself getting one for any other vehicles in the future it’s that convenient. I kept the stock plug for a worst case scenario and keep it in the jeep.My Skidrow plate has a trapezoid that allows the oil to drain out. I get it and at the same time I don't get it. That’s a funny tool. I get the concept but our filters are not in an optimal position for this to work.Check out "Oil Udder" for your filter
