Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ engine mounts

What did you do to your TJ today?

Speaking of a TC cable shifter .... I have one on order from Savvy. Along with the body/motor mount lifts, 4" springs, short arm kit with front/rear track bars.

I am starting to spend the money I have saved up for the big stuff. I hope to have this rig built before the end of the year. I wanna run around on the rocks with the rest of these Arizona peeps.

After a couple of shops I contacted about re-gearing my Dana 30/Dana 35 were pushing me to have them install an 8.8 rear, I bought a Dana 44 rear.

Sounds like I won't recognize your rig next time I see you on the trail. Can't wait to see how it turns out👍

Tuesday I had to go rescue my baby from the Cali state line. 600 mile round trip through 117 degree temps. Was driving the bug back from a week event in Chino and the coil slid down in its mount and shorted all the wires and the wiring harness went up in smoke from back to front almost burnt the car to the ground. Lucikly it didn't. CA State Trooper emergency tow an hour and a half closer (still 2.5hrs away) was going to cost $800 to $1000. So my buddy who was following me pulled me 7 miles to the next town where I put it in a hotel parking lot overnight so I could come back home and rent a Uhaul dolly for $45 and drive the jeep back to get it.

Jeep did fine 70+mph with the AC on for the most part. It went through some coolant all of a sudden and got hot for a few min then went back down. So I'll have to check that out soon.

Jeep rolled over 60k miles on this trip :(

Did you do the cable shifter too
Sho, did! I did the Savvy Off-Road cable shifter mod awhile ago; with the way parts are out of stock so commonly nowadays, one nearly has to resort to tackling projects one or two parts at a time, as is the case with my current Tummy Tuck project…
Thank you all for the informational posts on here.

I went to Birmingham on our first big US road trip visiting from Australia in 1990 :) We just randomly picked places on a map thats name was in a song lol our cheap motel in Mussel shoals had a choice of 24 hour star trek and 24 hour porn, our bed had a 10c slot for vibration lol Only in USA :)
Weirdest places we went was Waco Texas and Laredo.
I bought a brand new pair of Vintage Big E selvedge (pink stripe) Levi,s 501,s from a Birmingham charity shop for $3, I still have them and they are now worth a small fortune!
If you wanna see weird try Austin. Their motto is, “Keep Austin weird.” 😳☺️

Listening to John Denver Live and getting breakfast...man I wish he was still here.

I bet Mcgyvers console looked just like this, a small coke, coconut long boys, a check book and cordless winch control.

if Me and @John Cooper slip over the wall we are gonna catch up and see what we can break in my V8.😁
Is that George Costanza's wallet? Are there Sweet n' Low packs in there 😂

Was not a fan of the hook on my winch line, got a factor 55 flat link. Mixed feelings so far, time will tell if it's an improvement.
