Had a squealing noise coming from the front of the engine and figured it was the tensioner or idler pulley. After spraying WD40 around, I found out its the alternator pulley.

Can I replace the pulley bearing myself or do I need a new alternator? Or have it rebuilt?

Looks like new alternators are around $200. Would it be cheaper to have it rebuilt if I can't fix it?

I have 160,000 miles on the jeep, should I go ahead and replace the tensioner and idler pulleys while I have the belt off?

There are numerous online vendors for replacement parts to rebuild the alternator, purchase a rebuilt or new alternator.
The link below provides the rebuild parts or rebuilt alternator.
