Well this happened today... Craigslist find. $50. Drivers side is beat to hell but will make a great trail door.

I put my soft top back on and found one of the zipper pins on the back window came off (rotted from road salt) when I removed the window. Luckily I saved one of the side windows from my old top, and was able to cut the pin from it and squeeze it onto my window zipper.
This is on a cheap Smittybilt soft top that's been through two winters now, and gets taken off and put back on many times during the summer.

Success!!! Lights wired inside. Winch wired and line wrapped. Long day... but it all works perfect.

They came with a complete wiring harness with switch and double brackets for either side mounts or post mount. Its only been an hour, but so far I am very happy.

Yesterday I posted that I picked up some half doors on CL. Tonight I took the time to get them closing properly, fix the drivers side outside handle, and bang the worst of the dents out of it. Got them cheap due to the condition. $50 and about 2 hours of my time and I'm pretty happy.

In the last week, new gears (4.56 from 3.73), new speedo gear, two new round LEDS, dual battery kit, new seat covers, new carpet (with complete front to rear duramat).

I ordered that same mat setup but now I'm having second thoughts. I went off road yesterday and got sand everywhere. So much easier to just hose everything out with nothing on cab floor. I'm thinking of just ordering fitted mats for front that go in and come out easy. Soooo many decisions. Lol

This is where I am on this. I love the idea of having a sound insulator for those highway hauls and cranking tuned without the echo chamber but I'm really worried about mud and water. Decisions decisions.
I'll admit thought the back seat setup on that looks great.

This was one of my last major changes because it took me so long to rationalize carpet over bed liner. I did the liner for exactly the reasons you noted. I'm really happy with the BedRug kit. Good quality and the backing is nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cool! I'm looking at those Bear Claw lights for my 02 TJ but Amazon saying that won't fit... Seems like a mistake to me. I going for it! Any issues with installation?
