I have a set of solar yellow half doors off an 06. They are in excellent shape. 1 or 2 tiny nicks or scratches and absolutely zero rust. I have the uppers and mirrors. One of the zippers is broke on the upper, but I have 2 brand new mesh parts. I can update with pictures later, but you can take my word when I say you’d be hard pressed to find another set in this good of condition with original paint.

I mean if they are near mint without rust, dings, dents, and the door panels aren't all scratched up, I'd probably give you $1000 for them.

In LI everyone is always looking for full doors so the market is generally flooded with the 1/2 doors, lots in the $400 range, see if you can coerce someone to ship.

I want half doors quite badly, but my wife thinks they are not worth the money. 😩😩

She says “it’s a Jeep, you either have your doors on, or no doors”. I mean sit makes sense, but I still want half doors. Lowest I have seen is about $400 and they were fairly rough, $600 for ok shape, and then prestine condition is $750 and up.

I’ll get them eventually...I always win

And yet here in Arizona I can't find shit. I scour eBay daily, as well as Craigslist, FB Marketplace, OfferUp, etc. I can find half doors but they are all beat to shit and look like they've been sitting in a junk yard. Case in point, look what this joker wants for the condition these things are in?

I don't care what color they are, all I want is a set of half doors that look like they've been tucked away and have no dents, rust, or damage, and have clean, non-fucked up door panels.

Why is this so hard to find?

The half doors are beautiful for the summer time if you want that open air experience without taking doors off, however the road noise is terrible on the highway when you have the top up and window uppers on

I would not trade my half doors for anything, even here on LI...many sets from $400-$800 but usually not in super shape

I live in CT and a lot of my searches brought up the same guy in Long Island who seemed to buy and sell used half doors BUT took out the interior panels and used some sort of MOLLE pouch design. It was weird and definitely takes the value away not having the interior panels.

There is a set of white here In knoxville at a shop for $600. They are in good shape but not perfect. If they were $400 or less I would go for them, I believe you could get them in great shape with some work.

I want half doors but I don’t want to pay a premium, therefore mine will have damage when I get them, or I’ll never own them lol. I don’t need them just want them, no doors is fine!

Yeah his doors are crap. Dude just hoards doors, has no panels and charges too much for the condition they are in

Because @starkey480 gets all the good deals in AZ!

I'm thinking of getting some trail doors, Savvy! 😜

This is one of those cases where things have turned upside down. Good condition 1/2 doors are becoming harder to find than full doors. Here in VA, they sell fast in the $400 to $500 range. You could get $600, if the buyer wants that color and they're in good condition. In the end it's about the color and condition.

For me, I think they look great, I just don't see more than aesthetic value. During Spring and Summer I just go doorless. If I went to a trail with them on, I'd be afraid I'd accidentally bash them. I'd rather just get some trail doors if I really wanted some for those months. I still cringe in the winter wheelin with my full doors. I've already had to replace one, and that was $500 and a long drive.

crazy what people will pay for these things, I've seen them for some stupid prices there's no way I'd pay; I just waited until stumbling onto a good deal on facebook. Paid $200 for mine, they were the wrong color & had some damage to the interior panels but a lotta work & some cash later I was all done at around $300 & ended up with a nice set.

I'd chew glass before paying $750-$1,000 for these.

Another alternative is cloth half doors, I've had them for years now & love them. Certainly not as cool as steel halfs but they hit most of the same buttons & going forward will remain the go-to door for wheeling purposes.
