Seems like they slap the “your package is delayed” on every shipment preemptively.

it seems like they did. That message started showing up when they took down the expected delivery date on the 12th, while it sat at the DC for 5 days. Now it's been "in transit" for almost a week. I could have driven there and back by now, and it would have been an easy 6-7 hour/day road trip with time for tourist activities.

USPS is a joke right now. FedEx and UPS seem to be getting things delivered on time (to me at least) but USPS 2-3 day priority is taking 2-3 weeks.

Went to the Post Office for some stupid reason last week to get some packages off. It was a maddening conversation one would typically have with a government organization, no wonder they don't let CC holders carry a weapon on their property:

me: "Hello, I'd like to get this with two-day shipping".

USPS person "Oh, NOTHING is getting anywhere in two days. But, you can pay for two day shipping & if it's not there in five days you can request a refund"

Me: "Then that's not two day shipping. If the soonest is 5 days then I'll pay for 5 day shipping"

USPS person: "5 day shipping won't get it there in a week, the only way to get it there in 5 days is to pay for 2 day shipping".

Me: "So paying for 2 day shipping will get it there within a week, not two days."

USPS person: "Yes".

It is too bad that all the shippers are so far behind and backed up. Just think how hard it is on the personnel that's trying to help you. At least they are telling you the truth and the rest is out of there hands.

There is nothing our complaining is going to do.

One of the guys that I work with has a son that works for UPS, says people keep calling in with Covid even though they don’t have it. Shorthanded all the time.

I ordered parts for my Mosin Nagant on October 5th, and I've yet to see over half the order. Every time I've contacted them, they blamed the delay on Covid. They don't even respond anymore. I went back and double-checked. Nope, these weren't ordered from Savvy, so WTF?

My wife took a package to UPS to ship to Phoenix from Vegas. They told her $20.00 for 2 day or $10.00 for ground 7-10 days she went with ground. I just checked the tracking number it will be there on Wednesday only 2 days. This UPS store always trys to get you to pay for high price when the dam package goes on the same truck

They sent the shipping label over to FedEx on the 9th. That’s all that has happened. He won’t get his gift. If at all.

But this and we also got fucked on a Halloween costume we ordered beginning of September. Item came from California and landed in Washington. Never left.

Still fighting with the company to get a refund. Even paid for their “insurance”.

It’s a $33 order. It’s principal at this point but seriously, it’s fucking lost. Yet PayPal is making us wait till Thursday to give a final decision.



I’m done with PayPal. Better way to pay? Anyone? I never had issues until the last few months and now realize their “protection” is fucking lame.
