I see where Ford will be debuting Bronco in a couple of days. Anyone have any info. on this? Thoughts?

From the leaked info I’ve read, it will come I both two and four door versions. Top and doors removable. Will use the 2.3 Eco boost. Will have a 7 speed manual option with a crawler first gear. Front and rear lockers. Sway bar disconnect. Factory 305 or 315’s (seen both stated so not sure). Will be IFS front suspension.

from what I've seen it looks awesome and I would much rather have than a stock JL. Time will tell whether the IFS is tough enough for modest lift heights and mild wheeling, though I don't expect to see them survive out there with lift heights necessary to run something huge like 38's.

I could definitely see having one in my garage in 5-7 years or so; I could probably sell my wife on using it to replace her 4Runner. Should make a good camping/overlanding vehicle and save my TJ for the rough stuff.

I might consider a “new” bronco in about 5 years, used at half the price ....

I think most car manufacturer now days care more about luxury than functionality.

Will they be easy to get down there? Are dealerships just like in the states?

Yea, you can get most of the big brands here in the colonies too, brands like saturn are non-existant here, but you can spot one every now and then. The cost of new vehicles here is between 4k-7k above the continental US price. Same goes for used cars. A used TJ, X package in ok shape can go between 8-12K right now. My 65th Anni Tj was 15k with 36k miles, got lucky there!

You know what I'm waiting to see, and I'm just saying this would be so badass if they did this but I garauntee they didn't. What if Ford built and OEM SAS kit. Everyone wants 60's anyhow so they sell a bolt on straight axle setup and that's the only way it competes against a new Rubicon IMO.
