When I was a kid in Texas we used to put up heavy blankets in the back of the house where the bedrooms where. Hot AF in the living room but sleepable in the bedrooms.
No going back and forth either. Don’t let that cold air out !!

My A/C hasn’t quit running since 1pm. Not looking forward to my power bill.

Our house is 3400 sq/ft and has two large A/C units cooling it (energy efficient ones fortunately). Fortunately though with all the solar panels on the roof, the electric bill is something like $25 a month, whereas it would normally be $300-$400 a month.

Unfortunately we’re at the mercy of the infamous PG&E. Your penalty for having solar is a higher rate. 😠

They don't want people having solar, huh?

And they just shut your power off now whenever they feel like it, right?

I'm assuming you've got a backup generator on site?

86 high here in Socal. Not really normal, foggy and overcast in the AM. We are supposed to be in the low 70s Monday which is nuts. My tomatoes and zucchini are loving it. I'm sure we'll see 110 soon enough.

Having solar cuts into their profits. They don’t shut the power off where I’m at, they do in the mountains though.

Nice weather. No wonder so many people live there.

So basically the environmentalists want you to go green with solutions like solar, but the big corporations want to penalize you for going green. Oh the irony!

Well, at least they aren't cutting off your power.
