What did you do to your TJ today?

Oops. Wasn't done. Nice low note with the MBRP setup.

I didn't put the tip on because it ends up in the crush zone behind the tire. I'll go to my local muffler shop and have a piece bent to exit straight out the back.

Good lookin Jeep! What is tummy tuck, removing the running boards and molding?

Well, I guess that and a few other things, like a Savvy 1.25” body lift, MORE motor mounts, MORE steering riser bracket, and a UCF transfer case skid. Prior to the tummy tuck, you can see the OEM transfer case skid well below the frame and there’s actually daylight between the engine skid and the body. Everything got tucked up nice, giving the Jeep significantly more clearance compared to the before pic:

That is a really nice looking Jeep, or fab tyre carrier?

Yep. I like it a lot. Besides, once I went to 35's on beadlocks, the whole thing got way too heavy to just hang off the back tailgate. I tend to leave the spare off when I'm just driving around town (got AAA, they'll tow me home if I ever get a flat) but I always take the spare on the trails.

Watch those brackets when you put your doors back on! You WILL chip paint.
I bought those POS' the angle is HORRIBLE. I had another set that mount to the door hinge from Ebay and merged the two together. I'm happy now.

I was just about to order. Do you think the rectangle version would be a better choice? What about a stubby?

I like the round but that is just personal preference, I don’t know if one is better than the other. I tightened the three Phillips head screws really tight after I adjusted the mirrors and they haven’t budged. I don’t know anything about the stubby’s

Didn’t get my diff back in yet, had to run up to Pa this morning to pick up my latest FB Marketplace find. Factory TJ half doors with Smittybilt soft uppers and a set of hard uppers with sliding glass. Not sure what brand they are yet. They were originally tan but somebody spray painted them black 🤦🏻‍♂️ He also threw in a set of factory door surrounds, all for $500 😎 I’ll look into having the doors painted, but they’ll match my black soft top well enough to hold me over for a little bit.

Need to pull valve cover and check for loose rockers. Has a slight tick at higher RPM. Nothing at idle. Might just replace all rockers and seats if I find any wear.

When I looked at mine this is what I found

The weird thing is that the push rod to the right of that was bent, not the one that popped out of the rocker.
