Suggestions to straighten tailgate

Looking for suggestions or experiences from the TJ community regarding how to straighten the tailgate.

Easiest way would be to cover it with tailgate armor. You can paint the aluminum to match the body

Big suction cup in the center. Even the ones in the shower should do. 3" or better. Best if you have the metal hot (like a sunny day hot, not roasting hotdogs hot). It helps the steel relax. Pull with suction cup and hold. A simple jig to hold it a bit past flat. Let it set a while. How long has it been pushed in? The longer you have the debt, the more it wants to stay a dent.

I’ll check it out. I‘m not sure it would be stiff enough to straighten the top lip out.

I think this might work for the middle section of the tailgate. There is a reinforcement crossmember that is about 2” thick and Spot welded across the top and ends just shy of the latch handle.
I’ll probally use a combination of that and maybe a port-a- power or come-a-long.
I picked it up off of CL to replace the that was on it when I bought it. I noticed the paint chip, but not the bent top lip.
