What did you do to your TJ today?

Undergoing great consternation because I want to do everything at once. I want to regear, I want to take advantage of a sale on tires so I can go to 33s, and I want a partial tummy tuck so my shifter doesn't hit the console.

Just several annoyances I want cleared up for when I can drive it again when work opens back up and I can't do everything at once.

I feel that so much. Have to save something or I'd have nothing to do ;)

After the PSC install, my old Kilby steering box skid wouldn't fit. Fortunately, I had a spare Savvy skid sitting on the parts shelf. After a little clean up, and drilling two holes in the new bumper, it fit nicely with the PSC box.

The exit restriction also has its good sides. although i am still waiting for parts so i can finish my seats, But there is so much to do at the TJ that I decided to tackle my front axle.

the lower nut size 27 mm then forced me to stop. I do not have 27 mm wrench socket ☹
I ordered immediately, of course, and again I'm doomed to wait.

Talk to me about these Amber running lights! I’m looking to do something similar, just wanting incandescent though.
The lights are Quadratec 6" round spot lights. I've had them them about 6 months now, works great and easy to hook up! Connects right to the factory fog light connectors! I ordered the amber covers around the same time and they took a while to get here. They just snap onto the light with a few tabs and feel pretty stable. Been through storms and car washes with no problem! (Sorry, I don't have a picture on hand with the lights on with the amber covers on)

Cleaned up the new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. I put a coat of high temp primer and paint not for looks really, but for a little corrosion control. Cleaned up the seal plate between the motor and transmission, it was really caked with oil and dirt buildup. Started pulling the oil pan. I thought I could get it off without removing the exhaust, nope. No possible way to get the oil pan off without pulling the exhaust pipe. I figured I'd have take cutting torch to the exhaust bolts at the manifold, but a little PB Blaster and they came right out. I didn't even break one. I'm pretty happy about that. I think I will drink a cold refreshing Coors Light now. Today was a good day.

I bought some Hella yellow lenses fog lights that came with incandescent h3 bulbs. Got them on eBay. They come from India and take a little while to get here. The paint is thin and the opening they the wires go through does not seal well. Nothing some paint and a different grommet and RTV couldn’t fix. I’ve been happy with them for a couple years now.
