Is this factory mirror with doors off solution available for the TJ?

Just snapped this picture in the high rent district parking lot. It appears this is a factory JK mirror with a mounting bracket in the upper door hinge. Anyone know who makes it or have you seen it anywhere? I'm wondering if they make one for the TJ. I am not satisfied with any of the doors off mirror solutions that I am aware of for the TJ. These seem to put the mirror in the same place as with doors on.

They are here:
http://www.dietechoffroad.com/products/tj0306mirrorbracket.htm (they also list the 98-02 version, as well as the JK version in your photo)
It says that they are out of stock, but I called them a few months ago and they actually had them in stock. I believe these require a fastener or two going into the dash. I did not take the plunge yet because I don't run without doors too much so I have not convinced myself its worth the $$, plus I'm a little hesitant to drill into the dash panel. If/when I do buy them, I will also get a second set of mirrors so I don't have to mess with the ones on the doors. I think you can get OEM-style mirrors on eBay for about $70.

I'm not interested in drilling either. I will have to check with them.

LOL, TOO Funny. With Walmart in the background! :D LOL

Those mirrors are the best looking ones I've seen so far. If I were to want to take my doors off, those would be the kind I would want. I like that it goes into the door hinge piece.

Dietechs are amazing and worth the money. Best factory looking option. it uses the top hinge and gets clamped between two of the star bolts that are attached to plastic interior next to the door speakers. No drilling required.

What year is your Jeep? Did they require drilling? They have 97-02 version in stock but not the 03-06. I wonder what the difference is.

Are sure you are going to be able to root for the Astros this year? Go Cards!
lol, I think one always surrenders a certain amount of moral high ground when rooting for any professional sports team. Its not like the Cardinals have never been caught cheating. Last time, iirc, federal criminal charges were brought and someone got a 4-year sentence, but no World Series rings!

Theres only one reason you even remember that!

No drilling, I use them on my 03 and 06.
I got my Di-Tech mirror relocation brackets today, thanks for pointing me in the right direction @Go 'stros. I have to say I am pretty happy with them so far. I have not been above 50 mph or so but they seem to be just as vibration resistant as having the mirrors on the doors. They put the mirrors almost in the factory location. The mirrors with the brackets are set slightly rearward and outward from the position on the door. I have only installed the drivers side but it also angles out slightly to rear rather than being perpendicular with the side of the Jeep.
