I agree that skid snugs in good, except at the corners which are wide open and able to accept even rocks.
I put a new starter in mine since my solenoid was starting to stick. Funny thing is i am pretty sure it fixed a ground loop whine I was getting from my stereo.
Unfortunately I had to put my shitty 1/2” washer Home Depot TC drop back in to get rid of the vibes. Tried no drop then 1/4” drop then had to add a couple more washers to make it 1/2” to fully get rid of the vibrations. Going to look into purchasing a MML in the next few weeks.

For 1/2” drop it ended up being 5 grade 8 washers per bolt. I think 3 washers was about 1/4”. I’ve thought about doing the same thing you did before I needed a TC drop. Prevents a lot of the junky buildup that collects between the frame and skid.
Engine Oil change dif gear oil change cleaned the throttle body and replaced the tps sensor. All but the oil was a first for me but it went pretty good. Pretty sure I gained about 3mpg with the throttle body and tps!

Well I decided it is easier to cut my console than remove it, and try and make it look good, so here it is back in and wired up and cut for the transfer case shifter.
Went for a beach drive and my coolant reservoir boiled over
Enjoyed the view and had lunch while she cooled down. Topped it up and made it home. Going to refresh some cooling components; coolant cap, thermostat housing, fan clutch and pipes. Already replaced the thermostat and pump.

daughter is home for a few days between military assignments & wanted her favorite Greek food so I warmed up the TJ & it took us into town in style.
I must have 3,000 pictures of my TJ either in the garage or on the trail with other Jeeps, it's so funny to see it in these kind of pictures, looks like a pterodactyl among common birds
