Took the soft top off all the way for the first time. Gonna go grab a flag for the back, then doors off and a cruise with some other Jeepin friends!

Fixed some of the annoying rust spots that started to form over the winter. Unfortunately I forgot the before shot of the fender but it covered up nicely. Eventually I want to repaint the entire fenders but just didn't have the time to pull them off the Jeep. The door latches turned out pretty good from five feet away though

It definitely makes me feel better about the look of the Jeep! Every time I went to open my Jeep the rust made me die a little inside.
Finally able to wash, polish and wax the beast. First time since we took ownership this past winter. Had to wait until I finished up some paint work and finally had a gorgeous weather day today!
Did the polyfill stuffing of the speaker pods this afternoon. Definite improvement with stock speakers. The rears sounded so much better, I did the smaller pods in the dash too. Now, maybe I can at least drown out that darn popping racket.
After getting two flats on Saturday, had to replace all 4 tires so went with BFG All Terrain, took the occasion to replace the rims as well for the ones I've purchased a few months back (YJ rims). Also, washed!
after doing a search on fire extinguishers and mounting, I went with an element fire extinguisher. I ended up using a collapsible baton holder to store it. I think I should have bought the longer one but it fits very snugly and very easy to reach.
Apparently I need to find the thread on this, read it and try it out. Seen people post abt it several times this weekend.

Was the trim the problem? I got the same ones just haven't put them in yet. My 98 doesn't have the plastic so I'm hoping it's easy. Not that anything ever is on this thing.
Yeah, just the trim. With the earlier models, should be a cake walk, assuming your bolts come out.
I have yet to find a fastener that wasn't a struggle. Maybe some of the dash screws, haven't tried those yet.
Flush the coolant with 5 gallons of distilled water, run Thermocure deruster flush for a few days: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R74I5UY/?tag=wranglerorg-20 , flush with distilled water until it runs as clear as it'll get (took me 20 gallons and a few weeks), flush with Prestone 2in1 degreaser flush, flush with distilled water until it runs as clear as it'll get (took me about 10 gallons), refill with ZEREX HOAT coolant, test with a meter for proper mix.
Been having intermittent P0344 codes, so today we took out the OPDA, and ensured everything was aligned. Hoping that it won't come back now.

Installed some air ride air springs to help with the extra weight of the Dirt Worx bumper and M8000 I will be installing soon. Stop gap until I can anti up for OME.

Don't sell your self short. You also removed a rear bumper, inspected your serpentine belt (not by choice), and re-spooled the winch line.
