The first one was done by a guy named Chris from LeatherGoods.com Pretty sure mine was the last one he did. A forum member is rocking it now.
The second was done by our friend in Poland. Most easily found on eBay under the name aacarsaa. He typically doesn't do the early two spoke wheels don't think he can get inventory. I opted to send my extra wheel to him. It was a PITA. Box got hung in customs a few times. He did a great job, though failed to make as thick as I spec'd it. I wasn't sending it back. Alcantara is warm in winter, cool in summer and is easy to clean with a Mr.Clean magic eraser.

Awesome job.
I've considered doing this a thousand times, but the effort to do a GOOD job (as above) exceeds my level of interest.
I stitched a custom cover on my Charger wheel years ago, and it took me 6 hours because I did it with the wheel still installed.
Obviously removing the wheel is the right approach, but I wasn't smart or brave enough to remove it.

I have one. I bought it 6+ years ago when I was working outside all the time.
It uses the same batteries as my M12 tools, which is very nice.
Two things I don't care for about it;
The hood is connected to the liner (which is actually a zip-up hoodie) & I wish is was removable.
There are no heating elements along the arms, just the torso, which seems to me like an oversight.
I have a similar one on my wheel. It combined with the Misch 4x4 armrests made a huge improvement for the driving comfort of my TJ. My wheel like most TJs was sticky and falling apart prior to the cover.

My 2005 and my buddy's 2003 TJ both came with cheesy aftermarket foam covers. I removed mine to discover years of sticky grime, which various topical cleaners tried couldn't remove. So then, I used a water-dampened Magic Eraser, which fully removed all that grime and left a dull smooth finish. Did likewise on my buddy's with same results. Not "like new" but that wasn't my objective...

Idk what it looks like underneath but you seem to have a similar flat spot behind the shifter
Just search FB marketplace....pick up a used steering wheel....heck I got a very nice used one that doesn't have wear for way less than those steering wheel covers.

That’s one of the spots I have in mind. Just want to see as much options as possible before I drill holes in it
here in Portugal they will do it professionally for around 100,- it was allready on my list, but I didn’t know it would look so good!
