listed for 650 OBO - from a 2018 JL. 245/75r17 for my silver 2002 tj sport. Will measure tread when i go to look, but looks decent. Might have adapters in storage he said he could throw in, but if not, considering just wheels and probably no lugs, good price ? Appears to be 4 coopers, and the spare with a goodyear.
Thoughts on these JL wheels for my silver TJ

Stock JL rims, apart from the 392 rims, generally aren't worth much ($50-75 per rim). You will have to get spacing adapters to run said rims on your TJ. The Coopers run ~$220 per new, so the price for all 5 seems fair if the tread is decent, especially if you can get the price lower.

thanks for that. Is there something that looks off with a JL on a TJ or something? Or is it more that you see them alot on JL?
17" rims on a TJ just look plain goofy unless you're running 35's or larger.

I think the proportions look best if you have a tire that is double the size of the wheel (up to a 17”). So, a 30” tire looks great on a 15” wheel, but once you get to 33’s a 16 wheel looks good, then for 35’s and up 17’s. MHO.

I like them more than I expected to.
I thought it would look more like it had been subjected to the big-wheel treatment so popular 20 years ago.
I also have a silver '03, but I opted for matte black, aftermarket wheels.
On my JKUR, I opted to go w/a set of low-mileage, JL takeoffs - because I found a deal on 5, for way less than the cost of just 4 new tires...
Probably the same situation you are faced with.
I think I paid $500 for this set, but then I sold my factory wheels (w/ a mis-matched spare) for $300.
That means I only paid $200 net for a full set of 5 BFG KO2's, with less than 20K miles on them.
When I need tires again, I'll just look for another set of take-offs that someone is trying to unload.
For that kind of savings, I don't even mind if I end up switching to a different factory rim style every time I need tires.
This technique should offer me with plenty of individual replacement options if I ever need a single wheel, and it give me a near limitless pool of affordable replacement sets; so long as folks keep buying aftermarket wheels, that is!
