3D printed shocks

New to me company. Looks gimmicky, like a scam you'd see on marketplace. From what I see, I wouldn't wager $10 with them.

3D printing is finding a place in many new places. I’ll sit back and watch, see how it works out.

There are MANY applications of 3d metal additive manufacturing. Been talking with a company that is printing suppressors for rifles from Ti and Inconel. Very cool stuff. Cobra Golf has released a 3d Printed set of Irons. So far, its very niche and thing like that get bought for the cool factor...but this technology is coming. Been looking into metal printing for my business, because it would allow us to do things with tool holders that is not really possible any other way.

What feels most gimmicky to me is that when you open their page, there is a "Learn More" button front and center. I want to learn more about the product, manufacturing, and understand what you are developing. Instead, it is about their logo.

as a HUGE proponent of 3d printing, this one is bullshit. No talk about the product, no mention of why the tech is useful in the application, no display of the product or prototypes... but rather their logo, the atom, the merkabah, and the four elements? WHILE TAKING PREORDERS

Its total bullshit. its 101% marketing BS utilizing 3d printing as a buzzword to lure venture capitol into giving them free money to fuck around with. If they are simply building shock parts that are going to shave a few ounces off per shock, its worthless. Until I see an aluminum axle housing with titanium axle shafts and ceramic bearings with a ring and pinion made of Ununennium plated vibranium then the weight loss of a few 3d printed shock parts is negligible. If they have a new and better valving setup that surpasses the current standard, then they should showcase it. if they have better heat dissipation, talk about it. if they have literally any benefit at all over a King shock, then why aren't they talking about it instead of "the four elements" and "Merkabah"?

Just a guess, but form looking through that site, if they actually produce a product, I'll bet it's some kind of "wrap" applied to off-the-shelf Fox shocks.

At best, I think this is some company trying to generate capital and brand recognition, but I really think it's more likely just a chinese style scam.
