What did you do to your TJ today?

I was expecting them to be really stiff or really spongy from what older posts say. We'll see in a few months. The shocks, were nothing more than Monroe's (Tenneco) painted white.
After almost four months of ownership I finally replaced my speedometer driven gear. The 31” tires had it reading about 5 MPH low at freeway speeds with the stock yellow 30 tooth gear. I put a blue 28 tooth gear in and now it reads right on at cruising speed.
Big Deal, huh? But my OCD is again satisfied.

Went to clear the hard top and the applicator started to break down because the clear was so hot.
Oh boy.
So I lightly sanded it after it cured, recleaned and did a kiss coat of color-
Clear starts next. The matte finish looked good, wish I’d taken a pic.

Fitted a cigarette lighter to the back… just in case I take up smoking
I went wet on wet with the matte clear
Hopefully, when this cures, I can scuff it down and do one more coat and get ready to put in the windows

As for working, not sure I'd be doing what I'm doing if it wasn't for the paycheck...though I'd probably be busier than I am (doing other shit) if I could afford not to work.

Cutting some 3/16 plate for a winch mount with the "air scissors". Think the steel is a little too thick for my machine, but it'll work

Return it. There is no comparison to the RockJock bracket. The JKS has and will eventually fail.
