Car pics too cool not to share

It's funny to me that cars seem to go through the same things that people do. As the model gets older, they tend to get wider and heavier. Sometimes it takes forever, but sometimes it seems to happen fairly quickly. Case in point:

Justified.

Sorry I had to lol

The guy's like 6'40", and drives something that's literally called a MINI...in all capital letters! I figure that makes him one tough sonumbitch! Besides, as a guy who drove a pink Rambler station wagon for years, I've come to know that the car doesn't make the man. His boyfriend does...:ROFLMAO:

Now he just needs a skirt to complete the look! ;)

LIke I said, no effect. ;)

It's a supercharged gokart that gets 36mpg and can be parked just about anywhere. The chassis is so rigid you can jack up the entire side of the car from the front jack point. I thought and still think the design looks cool, though if I'd purchased mine new it wouldn't have been Chili Red with a white roof. That said, the clear coat has failed and I've been toying with doing something along these lines to the roof, if not the entire car...

Would you suggest a mini skirt, or is the Mini like a skirt?

Hmmm... I would be hesitant on the mini skirt in a Mini thing. Getting in and out of the car might be more awkward than bystanders would want to see... The problem with mini skirts is that you have to plan EVERY move in advance!

6'4", or 4'6", after all he's driving a mini.

Neither. My 6'40" comment wasn't a typo. It's a line I stole from some long-forgotten comedian. Been saying it for years when referencing a really tall person.

On this issue of cars somehow associated with women or effeminate men, I've always found it interesting as to what qualifies. Some examples:

Porsche Boxter

Mazda Miata

Volkswagen Beetle

And even the original '64.5 Mustang was geared towards women (secretaries, so said the marketing)

The Miata and the Mustang broke out of that stereotype, but others have remained bound by it. I just find it interesting.

I associate all of those with ladies. I know lady-like bois do like driving beat Miatas.

Even though the Mustang was originally marketed as a lady's car, I just haven't seen them as such.
