Thats a great choice if you want it to hit the gas tank skid and bind up on droop so you can barely get coils out. I chucked it for a 10 year old rockjock and have no regrets
When I built my Dana 44 with the Jeeps West brackets a few months ago, I have clearance, not much at full stuff but clearance nonetheless,The clamp bolts did hit it but I just flipped em and problem solved
I wasn't limited on droop,The axle would just free fall when no jack stands were In place. I just have to give it a good push with my hands to get it where I want but that's what's it like with any TB with rubber joints when your installing springs, taking em off etc.
Edit- I didn't struggle with that is what I'm trying to say
The moog joints seem to do their job, The TB is an alright piece,Just take out the shitty bushings it has and make it work and it'll be fine

I also had the flexibility to move brackets around when I built this axle so I was able to accommodate any clearance issues
Once I start on doing my ford 9" swap here pretty soon I may mess with using a Core 4x4 unit,It has Jhony joints on both ends and it has the bend like a JKS or currie from what I saw and it's cheaper
Just brain storming
