Took him a while, but he finally opened the trunk and found the engine!
Removing my dirt encrusted air filter was worth like 6hp

Which trunk?
It has 2
I used to have one of those. A real hoot to drive.
With the engine right behind your head, accelerating to 45mph felt and sounded like Formula One.
I bet a noisy turbo and bov would add to the experience!
Dairies will provide liquid right? Spray on the fields
I think they knife it in around here.
That's better if that's what they will do.
I have seen it both ways and think tilling it in does better.
To a mountain guy who has never operated a lawn mower , this farming talk is like when I talk classic cars to someone in their 20's ! ....![]()
Just keep hanging with me (a mountain guy now) and @Farmergreg a flat lander (which i used to be) and we will have you wearing brogans before long...... .![]()
These are what us high elevation folks are wearing . And not only do I know nothing about farming , other than some equipment , I had to look up what brodans are . We are different yet somehow the same !

There was another egg farm close to another field of mine. They were spreading liquid. In Illinois you have to incorporate it within 24 hours. Mainly if people complain.
Unfortunately I had two retired Chicago lawyers that bought the house that my field surrounded. They never said anything to me but they put the fear of god to the people at the egg farm.
Replaced the spark plugs in the 5.7 Ram last night. I already knew it burned a bit of oil, the two plugs on cylinder 8 confirmed it. Not a bad job, I went through the wheel well to do the drivers side since access from the top is limited by the Brake Master cylinder. Hank Jr and Waylon kept me company.

Plugs were about what I expected considering they are original with 138k miles on them. I replaced them with the same OE Plug.
All the LS guys are going, "Wait, you have two engines???"

$160 bucks for 16 spark plugs made me question the choices of the engineers. Those LS guys get off so easy at $80 bucks OTD.

What can ya say, efficient cylinder design is nice![]()
