Car pics too cool not to share

Fisher Price predicted all this back in the '60s.

Here's the proof:

If we're going on the "I miss.." train, I miss Pontiac. They always just had a little more "edge" than the rest of GM.

GM always tried to pass off Pontiac as the performance division , I thought they were only Okay at best . After the Super Dutys and GTO's everything else was meh ... unless a Olds powered Firebird with a 4 foot bird decal on the hood is your thing . Aztec's , 4 banger Fiero's , and Trans Sport's don't bring much to the table.

A) is this your vehicle and B) if yes to "A", why in the hell is the first we're seeing it? :D

It was mine. I would pay too much to have it again. I was super car heavy and got rid of it in a thin the heard phase. I have shared it here somewhere before.

By far one of the very best relationships I have ever had with a car. And honestly best car period.

65 2 door wagon. 200 six, three on da tree, and shag carpet (previous owner). Originally a Prairie Bronze car.

Bought it sight unseen in 2000 for I think $650 and had to go get it out of the woods near Yosemite. The plates had 79 tags.

Had a rat nest in the air cleaner with no filter that consisted of seat padding. Put water in it and it looked like a watering can with every bad freeze plug. And the original FOMOCO crimped on fuel line out of the pump leaked bad.

Trans had 3rd and reverse only. And I don't remember how but I found one on the east coast. The seller triple bagged it, wrapped it in duct tape, and slapped a shipping label on it.

Did the freeze plugs, rebuilt the carb, new clutch w/ by mail trans, rebuilt a couple wheel cylinders but did not do the brakes, filled it up with gas, and drove from Fresno to a Falcon Club of America National Convention thing in Sacramento and entered it in the show. I look back now and think that was tarded, but I made it there and back never driving it beforehand really.

It was like Roadkill stuff before Roadkill 😁

Bought it to Pro Street it, but couldnt once it ran and spoke to me.

Rude. As a Poncho owner, I offer this to hopefully change your mind 🖕 :sneaky:

It is. I've put thousands of miles on this one. Even with its underpowered 403 and 2.73 rear end, it's still faster than a TJ.
