Howdy folks, I was wondering if anyone ever put on some mud flaps that connect to a tow hitch? I see a few pickups with them, but I would like to have them on during winter and take them back off in the warm months and I thought it would be a good plan instead of more permanent ones. Just want to make sure they fit well. Like these.

Why.

I have never run mud flaps on anything ever in my life unless I got a ticket.

But Im not in Pa 🤷‍♂️

My one and only actual mud flap fix it ticket was with this dumb thing. And I was sitting way off the shoulder not even moving. CHP at the intersection of I5 and hwy 152 heading to Hollister Hills.

So I made some quick disconnect ones to the letter of the law. When I got it signed of with city PD the officer said "just for mud flaps???". And those mud flaps were the exact width of the tread and just slightly below centerline of the tire 🤣🤣

With things classified on the registration as "station wagon" and "SUV", depending where you are there is no real V.C. to ticket you for.

Flaps wont help much there :D

Exactly. Maybe an umbrella.

And now I've hit my windshield twice with rocks... thinking I need more wider fender flare.

Mud flaps are great for keeping rocks and mud off the trailer you're hauling with your truck. IMHO.
