Utah TJFest 2026 May 3rd-8th Sand Hollow

I am not really into those things, but I figured there's enough people here into youtube personalities they may want to see their place! If enough go I would tag along, but it's not something I would seek out myself.

Julie said she’d like to stop by. I’d like to see the heavy wrecker if possible. Hard to judge scale from the videos.

Don't make me come up there and get you...

It's not a question of ME making it.... It's a question of my Jeep making... Got to have a better showing of us Hemi guys this coming year...

Have to make sure I don't break anything when I go out to TN for spring break to go wheeling with my grandsons and son...

We could go find somewhere to get good food while everyone else paparazzis. That sounds incredibly boring to me too

It would possibly be interesting to talk to/hang with/wheel with Matt and/or his crew for a bit but they have gotten so popular, I’m pretty sure it would be just touristy. Maybe a pic and a T-shirt.

What days will you actually be running trails? I know it is probably on the first post, but help a redneck out with clarification.

That's a good question, in my zero experience with Sand Hollow mind it's that we run them every day we are there. But I don't know how long any of them take to run so I don't know how many to schedule in a day.

We hit the road on Friday so we probably won't run any that day.

I'm sure it's like Moab where everyone arrives prior to the dates stated and leave after the stated dates... So wheeling 3-8 May... But of course I could be mistaken... And as Ryan said they'll be leaving on the 8th..

It looks like the resort bookings I have seen are May 2-8. So I am assuming that the May 3-7 are the actual wheeling days?

I am just trying to figure out what actual days people will actually be running trails. I am preliminarily trying to be there (arriving Sun night) and on the actual trails, Mon, tues, wed, and thurs. But it is a big "IF" right now. My wife is a teacher and would need to get the days off and she also has to be willing to piss off her other teachers for taking off this same time 2 years in a row :) apparently some didn't like it too much last year :ROFLMAO:
