Mrs App is all over the Mississippi version. We grab some French bread from Jimmy John’s then butter it up and make a form of poboy out of it.
Me personally I’d rather coat the chuck in Montreal steak and smoke it for pulled beef sandwiches.

Onions underneath a 3.5lb brisket, potatoes, carrots for the initial cook and will then go back post shredding for the BBQ saucing.

I need to smoke me a brisket some time. My Masterbuilt gravity feed (MB800) decided to glitch out over the weekend so went old school and set up a charcoal "snake" on my Weber kettle for some baby backs and a nice tray of black soybean charro beans...turned out awesome.

Thanks, I love doing them..generally follow Jcam22 recipe from the smoking forum. Bought a 10lb bag of dry beans and use the instapot to hydrate them before smoking them.
