Novak Conversions Jeep Wrangler TJ radiator

Thoughts on this Jeep for sale

Does he live close to it? If so he may want to inspect it from one end to the other for rust.

Since I don't have Facebook I can't see the pictures, but Mn. means salt and rust

He does live close and frame rot is the first thing he’ll be checking. Frame pics look super clean, probably painted recently which may or may not be a cover up.

Painted frame and underside could be an attempt to hide rust or just preventative maintenance that's been kept up on. Not a lot of love for bolt on long arm kits like that from this group. Doesn't mean it's bad, just not what a lot here would recommend and, I believe, usually means cutting/welding will need to be done to return to stock style suspension configuration if desired down the road.

Prices really are regional. Have him compare other similar TJs in his area. He needs to put eyes and hands on any TJ he's considering and inspect the frame for rust; that's the biggest killer on these.

Reply from seller regarding odd suspension setup…… We won the front long arm kit in a Jeep raffle. I would say 75% of the benefits of a long arm suspension is on the front. We have been very happy with it and never felt we needed the rear. The rear long arms could easily be added since the arm brackets are already on the center skid.”

Is there something off about the area around this body mount? Looks slightly distorted & discolored. Is that the normal position or has the body mount been moved up?
