Undercoating?

I'm thinking to get my Jeep undercoated, looking for opinions. The frame / underbody is nice and clean, and I'd like it to stay that way. I'm shipping it down to Belize, so it will never be in the rust belt or driven on salted winter roads but I am very near the sea, there is always a sea breeze and stuff rusts quickly, at least surface rust. Also at times I may drive through salt water puddles along the shore line. However these may not be as intensely corrosive as salted winter roads. So, wondering if it is worth it? I can get it done for $700; two days with the first cleaning and prep then the next day applying the undercoat. What do you think?

I live near the sea and mainly use my Jeep as a beach cruiser. I’m doing the yearly application of fluid film/surface shield. In my experience it works very well at preventing clean painted parts from rusting.

Just avoid rubberized undercoatings. If you chip it at all rust can spread rapidly underneath and you’ll never know until it’s too late

Thanks for the warning on rubberized coatings. I was looking at using Raptor Liner or Raptor Tough but from what I’m hearing it sounds like Fluid Film is the way to go…
