The Super Coupe and Turbo Coupe were both pretty sweet rides. I also have a soft spot in my heart for first and second gen SHO's.
I had a turbo coupe. Got pulled over doing 120 and decided I needed something slower.

Does your driveway count?
My 5 speed '93 SHO was a pretty good sleeper car.
That'd be a 1600, actually. My neighbor's brother owns a 2000. Former neighbor had a sweet 1600. Don't see 'em on the road much anymore, but they do show up for sale relatively often around here.
Dang. Going to High School in the mid 70's, I never got to have any cool cars. My older brothers had some great cars though. I still remember walking past a car lot in Roseville, California and seeing my first Super Bird up close. I was probably in Junior High at the time.
Similar situation, no opportunity for photos. Earlier this week I had an “on road connection” (the positive kind) with a fella in a RHD Nissan Gloria. I had to look it up to find out what it was. There's a right hand drive Nissan Stagea here in town, I've seen it twice but I could not get my phoooooone out fast enough to snap a pic. Will keep trying though. Of course it doesn't exactly meet the criteria of "cars you don't see anymore", because it never came to the US, but you didn't say "cars you don't see in the US anymore"![]()
I believe this is a '65 Corvair Monza. Kroger parking lot.View attachment 648132
Well if driveways count...
Most people period have never seen one of these. I had never seen one in person till I bought it bone stock sight unseen.
My wife and I joke that it was our first major purchase because we went and got it the month before we got married.
For me, asserting my creative stupidity from the beginning of our relationship has really helped her answer her own questions with what's wrong with me from time to time
