So I have the dreaded 344. After some messing around, I’ve found I can repeat every time if I rev the engine to 3500 rpm at idle. I’ve tested wiring integrity to hell and back. And being that it’s repeatable it all but rules that out.
My learned difference is .9 degrees. I can see my cam/crank difference grow slightly from 1 degree at idle to 2 degrees when it fails. I’m pretty sure this is in spec, and the P0016 is what would trip if this were an issue. I’m never getting that.
I pulled the OPDA cap and I have some (I feel like a lot) play back and forth.
Any words of wisdom will be appreciated. I’m going to throw a sensor at it but have a feeling that won’t fix my issue.
For some reason it won’t let me post videos of the slop.
