I have a Rough Country 1.5" puck kit I'd sell dirt cheap if you want it. Never used. Ended up going 3 inch springs.
If you plan on going above 31's on the 3.07 gears.. don't. 33's and 3.07s sucked.
You can do alot more good offroading than you'd probably expect on 31s anyways

1.5 pucks would be awesome actually. The 31s are just fine for what I do for now! I’m pretty content with the setup I have.
If the price is right I’d love to grab those pucks!

So far it hasn’t stopped me! It’s just some run-of-the-mill tire dysmorphia. 31s on a Tj is totally great, while 31s on a truck would be tiny
They're buried in the garage somewhere. Let me make sure I can find em before I get your hopes up.
2.5" lift with 31's will be some healthy ground clearance. I'm not sure control arms/ transfer case will be too happy with that setup so check on that.

On the OP's 4 banger topic.. I love the 2.5 in my Comanche and 2.5 in my previous TJ was fine. I think people mostly expect too much out of them.
30" skinny tire with a half door/ soft top 2.5 TJ is great for under 55 cruising around town.
33's on a full door/hard top + spare with highway driving... absolutely sucks.
If you can get the 4 banger cheap and it's super clean, probably worth it.

I don't think anyone has tried the FRAM oil filter mod on a 4 cylinder yet . My guess would be somewhere in the 40's

Ya just had to go there didn’t you? That was a six cylinder that Fram increased his mileage so much. Two fewer cylinders has got to bump that number up exponentially!
