It looked funny to me, so I had to look it up. Authorized is American English and Authorised is British English. This company is located in KC?

Just a heads up, since it's a Milwaukee, I grabbed the newer M12 Fuel 3" Cut Off Tool (2522), and tried to use it to high-line the hood. No go with the sheet metal and would stall an inch or two in, probably not worth returning but it's basically a dremel with a big wheel.

Agree and had the same experience when cutting my fenders. It is the only M12 Fuel tool that I am disappointed with across about 8 that I have.

When I do the high line fenders its gonna the angle grinder with a cutoff wheel so I dont have that issue.

I have the older Chicago Electric version of this and for what it is it works ok. It’s not the most powerful, and has an internal breaker in it that trips when it works too hard, but it’s just a button on the bottom of the unit so I just keep the paddle pressed and tap the button if it pops and continue on. I used it for my hood. Seems to have a little more finesse than the grinder and isn’t as noisy or cumbersome as the pneumatic with the air hose and has similar power. I use it quite a bit and for the price it’s a welcomed tool to my cabinet.

I wonder if the Bauer is better than the Chicago Electric one?

I know most of the Bauer seem better quality in what I have bought.

I wondered that too, and for $35 I’ll probably pick one up next time I’m there. I broke half the paddle switch off my CE one and that had the safety on it so if you set it down on the paddle it turns on. Good excuse to try the Bauer version and if it has more power than the CE one then that tool will be a home run.
