Hello everyone ,bear with me now I’m new to this, but I recently purchased a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0 5 speed manual transmission. the problem I’m having is I cannot to save my life. Find the flange on back of the transfer case that the driveshaft mounts to it is a 27 spline flange. Does anybody have any idea where I can find one?

The flange slides over the transfer case shaft and is held on by C clip and then the driveshaft bolts up to the flange with four

Do you know who the maker is for the SYE kit that is installed ?
That will assist the Forum Members in directing you to a source.
Is the output shaft threaded or does in have a bolt hole to retain the flange ?

No, I do not know the maker. I was told that it was a hack and tap. I don’t know the history on this jeep like I said earlier I only had it for a few months now I bought it and I’m not I’m not a good mechanic anyway my son-in-law is but he ain’t available. I do know it’s a Spicer shaft and it’s 27 sine coming out of the transfer case

Held on by only a C clip ?
Doesn't sound like any setup I have heard of.
The Hack & Taps that I have seen are held on by a bolt and washer...

Can you attach a picture of you setup ?

Also, it does not have a nut on the end holding the flange on to the shaft. It is a C clamp or C clip whatever you wanna call it and then the driveshaft bolts onto the flange that’s held on with the clip.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been running into a lot. That’s why I wished I had the history on this. I just don’t have the money to right now to buy one of those $600 eliminator kits.

Yes, I could probably send some pictures of the set up. I will have to get my son-in-law to take some pictures of it. If you will do it for me the Jeep is in Cabot at his house and I’m out here in Pine Bluff where I live so it will be a while. I did send a picture of the flange itself.

Little bit of a hiccup on that last message if he will do it for me
