Hey now, other than locating an unobtainable part number for a failed switch, I've never had a single issue. Actually, I still have the factory installed light blubs throughout the car.

Switch gear , charging system , and later electronic ignition were always the failure points on older MoPars I was around. Light bulbs were golden though !

I know they had some teething pains with the electronic ignitions. Mines a little older than that.

It does seem like a crazy price considering these were priced around $30,000 new just 25 years ago. If you want to think about them in a generational kind of way, I like to compare the 90s Integras to the early Camaros or Firebirds (Civic = Nova), and the Type R is comparable to a ZL1 Camaro or early Trans Am Ram Air III/IV. Maybe that perspective will help.

It might be generational , The price jump for the Type R just doesn't attract me . 25 h.p. and over 1000 Type R built are just different to me over a 1st. gen ZR-1 with 50 cars built. Still it's a fun Integra !

When's the last time you guys got caught in the rain in something old? For me it's usually a test of A - will the wipers still work, and B - will the old dried blade hold together and be flexible enough to work. In the moment of need one of those answers is usually no.
