Ruby and I went down to Carson City and took Kings Canyon Road back towards South Lake Tahoe. Was a fabulous day.

Raised the pillow block on the steering shaft to realign it after the body lift.
Did some light wheeling yesterday afternoon. Put my flat skid to the test and it held up phenomenally. Really smacked the shit out of it once. Also accidentally bonked my driveshaft but it held up no issues- credit to Tom Woods.

Had a gurgling/bubbling noise after shut off a couple nights ago. 
also realized the gauge was a bit higher than it usually had been for most of last year.
Grabbed a fresh 18° Murray motorad (7018) cap at o’riellys, let her cool down and swapped it out.
Next day drove it 3 times for about 60 miles total and the gauge went from between the 1 and the 0 most of the time to the left of the 2 or between the 2 and 1.
And no more bubbling/gurgling.
This is the gauge after the swap.

You need to put one of these in for the ride of the month contest. Beats all the red rock pix that dominate.
It may be too slick out here for a lot of y'all, but I definitely love the woods and Appalachian mountains more than anywhere else.
Don't get me wrong, the rocky mtns are beautiful, especially in person, but here is just home.
And all you beach people can keep that, I don't want none of it.

Actually, you're not - this is a fantastic photo. It even follows the "rule of thirds", and isn't a damn vertical. The other one has a large leaf occulting the front bumper area, making it look like there's no bumper and no lower grille.
I saved it to my rotating desktop "wallpaper" directory.
