I did search the site, folks....

I need the bolt size for the rear seat bracket to floor bolts. They are pan-head Torx bolts.

I'm trying to install a Bestop rear seat and can't get the bolts out to replace the brackets. I'm just going to order new from McMaster-Carr after seeing the prices on Ebay I want to drill out the old ones as efforts to remove have proved ineffective (yes, I tried heat).

Any help would be appreciated. I don't even know if they are SAE or metric!

TIA

I believe those bolts are typically Torx T-40 pan-head bolts, and they are 3/8" in size. They are SAE, not metric.

Well, I was about to start a thread with the same question.

My ‘05 rear seat floor bots are bigger than 3/8”. A 3/8” bot is most definitely too small. It looks to be fine thread, but is it English or Metric?
