OBD Scanner

Within five seconds, and without starting the engine, turn the ignition on-off-on-off-on.
Leave it on the third time and trouble codes will display in the odometer, followed by 'done'.

Watch Project Farm on YouTube he reviewed OBD 2 scanners. I picked up a Motopower OBD 2 scanner.

I just recently picked up a 04 TJ and I would like to get a scanner to keep on hand. Ideally I would like one to use on my f150 too but those seem to be pretty pricey. Anybody have experience with this one?

I bought that one just because it is supposed to have the ability to synchronize the cam and crank sensors. Haven’t had to do that but wanted the ability. I did use it to watch my temps after a water pump change and it worked great for that. It also tells me my oil pressure is 45lbs which must be a fluke in the program cause I don’t think an 04 oil switch is either you got pressure or not.
It also helped clear my Ram truck after it went wacky doodle on me. Don’t know if it’ll work on a Ford though? What year? Gotta be obd2 probably.

It's an 04 also but I would have to buy a separate one for the f150.
